Reforms body agrees to abolish concurrent list

ISLAMABAD: The parliamentary committee on constitutional reforms on Friday decided to abolish the concurrent legislative list of the constitution to give maximum autonomy to provinces. Sources privy to the committee meeting, presided by Senator Raza Rabbani, said the committee agreed to recommend the abolishment of the concurrent list in its proposed constitutional package. Talking to reporters after the meeting, Rabbani said the committee would soon finalise the constitutional package. staff report
